I notice that Slater is playing this weekend in Cuba. Anybody in for a road trip? And what was the name of his band back then? Well I have a sailboat, any one wanna make a southern passage? Maybe we could smuggle back elian and invite Janet Reno to the reunion and get her really toasted so ole elian could bugger her for old times take! What a country!! WOOF!!!

Dave, his band was called "VIVA", and Phil and Greg Wilkens were in the band along with Frank somebody. James hasn't changed a bit!! He was at the 20th reunion in Panama! I think he lives in Switzerland!

Thanks Joe, you must have salvaged quite a few more brain cells than I have. You know how those high school bands seem to mercifully fade from your memory. I remember a big guy on the bass and his little brother with Jim in the band. So wasn't there another band just before that with Mike Little n Jaime Rheberg on Percussion and some other guys?

I have a very vivid memory of being at the Pub one night, with James and company on stage... They played "China Grove", "Taking Care of Business", and "Jumpin' Jack Flash", among others, I'm sure. Hope he makes it to the 25th!

Anyone remember the band NIGHT OWL? The artwork from their flyers done by Pete Gurney was great. The Amador Officer's Club would rock till all hours, as did almost every other club and teen club.
